Dr. Mario Seyer

Dr. Seyer is a native of Quebec, Canada, and moved to Northern California in his late teens where he met his wife, Stephanie.  After finishing his undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, he graduated from the AT Still University of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri, then completed his Residency at the Southern Illinois University-Quincy Family Medicine program.  Dr. Seyer spent the next 17 years raising his kids with Stephanie in northern Oregon practicing Family medicine serving a wide demographic of patients from childhood to end of life and serving as team physician for the Oregon City Highschool Football team for over a decade.  The last 4 years of practice Dr. Seyer transitioned to Post Acute Care, moving out to Coeur d’Alene and working largely with complicated Internal Medicine and geriatric populations after hospitalizations and those requiring ongoing skilled nursing care serving as Acute Rehabilitation Medical and Hospice Medical Director.  He is very excited to join Coeur Vitality and return to primary care, develop lasting relationships with his patients, and work with them in achieving optimal health and wellbeing. He and his wife Stephanie have three grown children, and they enjoy all the outdoor activities that beautiful North Idaho has to offer.
